A Squad Money

Just to let you know I am currently holding £25 for an end of season social (we can spend this how we like).

We will have another £25 left over from the Writhlington bookings - if we don't need the fourth session. The extra from the Writhlington bookings have arisen due to them having waived the £40 joining fee - don't know why but I am not going to push the matter!

Additional Training Sessions at Writhlington

I have booked another three Tuesday evening training slots at Writhlington. Nothing for us to pay because two sessions are in lieu of the bad weather cancellations and there is enough left over from your initial payments to cover the third (and in actual fact a fourth if we need it).

The sessions are 6pm Tuesday 24th February, 3rd March and 10th March.

Hopefully the light will allow us to go back to Winsley at 5pm for 17th March. But we can make a decision about this nearer the time.

Trowbridge D 0 - 0 BTYFC A Squad

A bright and breezy but bitterly cold Sunday afternoon saw us pretty much dominate this game. As with most games this season we couldn't covert possession and chances into goals. For virtually the entire first half we were camped outside their penalty box. Angus was particularly lively down the right wing and whipped some lovely crosses. When Trowbridge did venture over the half-way line Jonno and George at the back were rock solid. In the second half, with the strong wind on their backs,Trowbridge came back into the the match, particularly as we tired. George Rebello pulled off a superb save - diving to his left pushing the ball around the upright. As always Ollie commanded proceedings in the centre, tracking back to help out in defence, getting forward and, both assertively and wisely directing his team.
